Is it true that we often find evidence to support our perspectives?
Or could it be true that we often find real evidence and ignore it because it fits our perspective, causing us to question our perspective?
Why question it? Because that’s what the experts tell us to do, right? They even have fancy names for it. Pareidolia.
Is that what happens to us humans? We become convinced we are imagining things because there is a fancy word for an expert to use to prove to us we are imagining things that are not there?
Well, maybe, maybe not, or maybe both happens.
But I say, let’s not let such words manipulate our brains into thinking everything not explainable is our imagined. Or perhaps… let’s give imagination some leeway to mean “creatively seeing what is actually right in front of our nose.”
What happens if we begin to look up, down, and all around with a child-like perspective? What will we see? What questions will we ask? What answers will we find? Why not try it? It is a hoot!
Just some random thoughts today. Not much else to log in this notebook except for a recently discovered youtube channel. Now I’m learning the real truth about magnetism.
Where? Ken Wheeler’s youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/kathodosdotcom
I randomly found it a week or so ago as I worked through new questions. Amazing how the universe seems to provide information to answer questions. Or is it just my imagination? My gut tells me it was more, so I’m going with my gut.
Who knows why I found it. I am just glad I found Ken’s work. The best part is it’s all free. Warning, be prepared for new terms and taking the time to break down his rapid fire explanations into consumable packets. He even provides a free downloadable book. Thank you, Ken!
As I close out this log entry, I share one last image I took. Yes, these are the images I saw and captured with my camera. No touch ups, no editing.
Sure one might say it is simply moisture inside a cloud with the sun shining from behind it. Or one might say, it is some kind of cloud generating craft which soon made the clouds below. The last image on the right, I took on another day. It reminded me of an old song.
I just can’t get it out of my head, “Puff the magic dragon…
ps. I know the song says lived by the sea, but that makes no sense. Lived in the sky is much better. :-)
Cheers!
